YOU ARE THE CREATOR

Nobody To Blame But Yourself

You Are The Creator
You Are The Creator

If you've heard me say nothing else, you must have heard me say this:

"you are the creator of your reality - your feelings, your thoughts, your words create your existence."

Let's break that statement down into parts so we can better understand its certainty.

How we feel generally determines our thoughts.

So for example, when we first wake up and get out of bed, if we feel stiff or tired or cranky our thoughts will follow suit.

Walking to the bathroom, the dialogue begins.

"Man, I feel horrible today."

"I must have slept wrong, my neck hurts, my back hurts, my head hurts, this day is going to be #$%&."

Once the way we feel affects our thoughts it's only a matter of time before our words will be indicative of such.

The first chance we get, we tell the story.

"How are you today?" "I'm horrible, I slept wrong my back hurts, blah blah blah..."

The entire day will bring more frustration and disappointment as sure as I am typing this.

I can guarantee that you will spiral so quickly down that your head will spin. Literally.

So, indulge me while I walk you through my day yesterday.

For months, but even more so for the last couple of weeks, I have been saying to myself and others that I know I am going to encounter a snake.

A couple of days ago I cleaned out the garage and I found a snake skin so that just validated and legitimized my concern.

If I had to guess, I would say at least 10 times a day every day, I thought about this.

My senses were heightened while sitting outside, triple that each time I walked into the garage and I even had a slight fear of seeing one inside the house or my car.

If you had to guess the next part of my story, I am positive that you can.

I set a portion of my garage up so that I can exercise at home. I got dressed and nonchalantly opened the door to the garage and my first step out guess who greeted me?

Thankfully buddy was just as nervous as I was because he started moving his head, (in an aggressive manner) otherwise, I probably would not even have noticed him.

In this moment I knew I had messed up. I had NOBODY to blame but myself.

I knew that this was going to happen and that's exactly why it did.

I cannot emphasize this point, make it clear enough, highlight this in the brightest color, WE ARE GOD'S HIGHEST FORM OF CREATION.

Our capabilities are far beyond what we are being taught in schools, by our parents, and sadly even religious sectors.

If we are made in the image and likeness of God, (which we are - Genesis 1:27) He spoke and things came into existence. (Genesis 1:3)

Endorsing, corroborating, and substantiating the very fact that we are indeed creators of our reality.

To further add insult to injury, hours after the fact, I was taking the trash out (in the garage.) I sat the bag down on the ground to take the lid of the can and the loudest hissing sound you could imagine began.

You almost lost ya girl!!!!!

Luckily it was just an empty whipped cream can that just so happened to be in the precise position to make the hissing sound when I laid the bag on the ground.

Coincidence? I think not.

My thoughts, feelings, words had all aligned with the fear and anxiety of this snake waiting for me so he could launch his attack.

I created that frightening scenario as well.

Remember, our fearful thoughts are just as creative as our positive ones. (Job 3:25)

I want to end this blog with saying this, once we grasp the severity of our divinity, we will be much more careful of the feelings we allow to stay, the thoughts that we entertain and the words that we speak.

Because despite this being a hard pill to swallow, we can blame nobody but ourselves for the lives we live.
