SPLIT TRUTH

Clarity Through Contradiction

Split Truth

My sister told me that one day she just woke up and her eye sight was blurred. She contributed it to older age.

After she told me this, I encountered at least 8 more people that said the same.

For the last year for sure, maybe more, I have been proactive in my pursuit of not falling victim.

Every morning upon waking, I walk outside and I "sun gaze" and "ground" myself.

I cover one eye and stare into the morning sun for 10 seconds or more while I stand in the yard.

I read that the early morning sunlight may help replenish certain vitamins and deficiencies while also naturally supporting eyesight.

Doing this while standing barefoot on the soil will "ground" your energy bringing you into perfect alignment with your whole being.

This morning ritual has given me great confidence in starting my days.

That is until I had a conversation with a friend and as I was explaining this is one way to naturally restore your eyesight he adamantly disagreed.

In my defense I asked ChatGPT and the answer it gave was shocking.

"You will most likely burn your retina by sun gazing before you will heal your eyesight."

If flabbergasted was a person, I was her.

Furthermore, later that week I saw a video that said when you walk barefoot in the soil, certain parasites could enter through the soles of your feet.

If throwing in the towel was a person, I was her.

So naturally I spent the next few weeks disgusted and depressed haha.

Recently we've had incredible weather and I took full advantage of it by laying outside in nature soaking up all that it had to offer.

In being still, void of stress, anxiety, confusion etc., I received clarity.

Decades ago, I was in a huge debate with someone as to which is better - to buy a home or rent.

What I concluded then was there is no clear cut answer. It's whichever feels best for that particular person at the particular time.

If freedom is what one desires then renting is more beneficial because you can finish out your lease and switch easily and/or rely on the owner to do all of the maintenance etc.

Whereas the person who desires equity and longevity as well as renovating, buying is going to be the best option for them.

Bottom line, it solely depends on the desires of the person and where they are in their lives.

If sun gazing, tree hugging and grounding makes one feel refreshed and penetrated with nutrients and vitamins from nature then by all means they should continue.

However, if I were to do these things with fear, worry, doubt and confusion hanging over my thoughts then I would highly suggest refraining.

At that point I would be going against the flow. I would be paddling upstream exhausting myself and nullifying any benefits.

We live in a day in age where we can ask a question and get so many different answers with conflicting information, it will make our heads spin.

Our sole responsibility to ourselves is to always evaluate how it makes us feel.

If you feel confused, wait.

Relax and the answer will make its way to you.

If it's a decision that gives you little to no time to decide, go with your inner being.

Call it your gut feeling, your intuition, your third eye lol, call it whatever you want but recognize its power in decision making.

But here is a clear warning - judge not those who decide against your choice.

Two sisters standing back to back - one sun gazing while the other wears sunglasses.

This is a picture of perfect harmony.
